The canine musculoskeletal system has many components: bones, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, blood vessels, and organs that support these tissues including the liver, kidneys, and adrenal glands.
Developed to support canine’s optimal health and function, Canine Musculoskeletal is a joint support supplement for dogs that supports collagen formation, healthy cartilage, and bone health. It also provides antioxidant support.
Canine Musculoskeletal Support provides manganese, an essential nutrient. Manganese is essential for bone formation and maintenance. It contains Boswellia serrata, an herb associated with pathways that support healthy inflammatory processes. It also contains Perna canaliculus, New Zealand green lipped mussel, which is associated with joint health and comfort in mammals including dogs.
When should you start to pay attention to canine joint health?
It is important to proactively support healthy joints from a young age. Unfortunately, joint support is sometimes not considered until after a dog shows discomfort that often accompanies the natural aging process. As soon as dogs are able to eat solid foods — within the first year — it is safe to consider adding nutritional support, including through nutritional supplements, for joints and connective tissues.
What is the optimal way for canines to consume Canine Musculoskeletal Support?
There are multiple ways to give dogs Canine Musculoskeletal Support. It most often is mixed with a food the dog enjoys. Some will eat the powder mixed with dry food, while others may need it mixed in with wet food. Some will even lick it right out of the bowl.
What are easy exercises for canines to work their musculoskeletal systems?
The exercise that is best may vary from dog to dog based on age, weight, and health status. For some, just a simple daily walk is beneficial to get those joints and connective tissues moving. Some may require higher levels of activity like running with their owners, chasing a ball, or agility-type activities such as frisbee. Swimming is also a great way to get those joints moving.
Based on body weight, the canine patient should receive the canine formula powder according to the following recommendations, or as otherwise directed.

| 11-20 lbs | 1/4 teaspoon twice per day |
| 21-40 lbs | 1/2 teaspoon twice per day |
| 41-60 lbs | 1 teaspoon twice per day |
| 61-80 lbs | 1 1/2 teaspoon twice per day |
| >80 lbs | 2 teaspoon twice per day |
Scoop Information: ^A 1/8 tsp scoop is included with the small canine powder bottles, and a 1/2 tsp scoop is included with the large canine powder bottles.
Suggested Use:
Administer orally. Best if given with food. Includes 1/8 tsp. scoop.
