Binders are a critical (but often skipped) step when it comes to eliminating toxins such as heavy metals, environmental chemicals, and microbial byproducts a la detox. Binders absorb these particles to 1) prevent their reabsorption into the bloodstream and 2) make it easier to flush them from the body via healthy bowel movements.
