    Product Description

Combines 14 key nutrients including BSE-free bovine tracheal cartilage, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to support spinal health and function.

    How it Works

A unique formulation of bovine tracheal cartilage and manganese with other supporting nutrients for spinal support. Bovine tracheal cartilage is rich in two types of glycosaminoglycans, Chondroitin -4-and -6- Sulfates. They provide the building blocks for nourishment and support of spinal discs and the surrounding connective tissues of the spine. Our bovine tracheal cartilage orginates in the U.S. Our raw material supplier documents the origin and health of the animals used in manufacturing and certifies our bovine cartilage to be BSE free. Certification also states that there is no co-mingling or mixing of other materials of beef origin during the processing of the cartilage.

Disc Discovery contains 14 synergistic nutrients that focus on the synthesis and restorative processes of spinal connective tissue.

Glycosaminoglycans- Bovine Tracheal Cartilage is a rich natural source of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) including Chondroitin -4-and -6- Sulfates. GAGs are the principal components of cartilage and synovial fluid found in joints and make up connective tissues like collagen, tendons and ligaments. Chondroitin sulfates are highly concentrated in healthy connective tissue of the spine and intervertebral discs. They support connective tissue function and maintain healthy intervertebral discs by providing building blocks for the nourishment and support of spinal discs and the surrounding connective tissues of the spine and are essential for repair and the synthesis of connective tissue.

    Minerals-

    • Manganese helps maintain the optimal structure and elastic nature of connective tissues, including those of the intervertebral discs. It is also required for normal bone growth and synthesis, formation of cartilage, healthy nerve function and healthy synovial fluid within joints.
    • Magnesium plays an important role in neuromuscular contraction. It also assists in calcium and potassium uptake and is used as a catalyst in enzyme activity.
    • Calcium builds and maintains healthy bones and teeth. It is also needed for muscle growth, repair and contractions and is used in transmission of nerve impulses.
    • Zinc is required for protein synthesis, collagen function and is vital for bone formation. It is also a constituent of at least 25 enzymes involved in digestion and metabolism, including carbonic anhydrase, which is necessary for tissue respiration.
    • Silicon is naturally occurring in Apple pectin and Horsetail Rush. Silicon is an important constituent of GAGs and is involved in the formation of bone and other types of connective tissue. It also supports calcium absorption.

    Vitamins-

    • Vitamin C enhances GAG metabolism and aids in the production of collagen. Vitamin C is essential for tissue growth and repair. Pectin is a buffering agent for vitamin C.
    • Vitamin B6 is needed for normal brain and nervous system function. Vitamin B6 is involved in the formation of certain proteins and is vital for activating many enzymes within the body
    • Vitamin D is important for the absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorous which are needed for bone formation. Vitamin D is necessary for normal calcification of bones and teeth and protects against muscle weakness.

    Amino Acids-

    • Taurine is found in high levels in the muscle and nervous system and is vital for the proper utilization of sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Taurine is a biological source of sulfate.
    • Serine is involved in muscle growth and is found in large amounts in the brain and nervous system. It is an amino acid that links the glycosaminoglycan structure to the protein portion of connective tissues.

    Enzymes-

    • Pepsin digests proteins and supports silicon absorption.

Free radicals: the havoc they wreak and how to stop it

Detox is nothing new. It’s been talked (and talked) about for decades across Western medicine, functional medicine, Ayurvedic medicine… there’s no shortage of information or discussion on it. But what a lot of conversations miss is that ‘detox’ is not a blanket term—there are a number of harmful substances that can be present in the body that we need to get out. And while there are some similarities across symptoms, they still tend to present a bit uniquely. Free radicals are a pest that isn’t usually talked about as much as its counterparts (like heavy metals and parasites), but these unstable molecules can be hell on the body as they damage cells and tissues through a process called oxidative stress. Its symptoms are a warning list that your body is full of toxins.

    • Chronic fatigue and low energy levels
    • Premature aging (skin lines, wrinkles, graying hair, etc.)
    • Increased vulnerability to colds, infections, and viruses
    • Brain fog, memory loss, or trouble concentrating
    • Unexplained vision issues
    • Delayed or slow wound healing
    • Headaches and migraines
    • Joint and muscle pain
    • Loss of muscle mass and function

Giving your body's natural abilities a boost

And while the body does have a natural detoxification process to rid itself of free radicals, when our immune system is compromised, or our body is lacking the nutrients it needs, or we're simply being exposed to really high level of toxins (which is easier than you think in today's world) those natural processes struggle to keep up. VitaelChem Binder is utterly uncanny at the first crucial step in free radical detox: attaching and binding to the substances at a cellular level, and replenishing cells with the nutrients and minerals they need to regain their strength. This means it alleviates symptoms of oxidative stress, but also helps empower the body to fend it off in the future.
