My daughter is battling Lyme disease, which originally began with a swollen, stiff and painful knee, then two years later was diagnosed as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, then two more years later, Lyme disease. I thought oh yay! finally we know what’s wrong and can fix this poor kid. Five months of multiple prescriptions of antibiotics and other meds did nothing but make her so sick, she could barely keep food down. It was her current/latest doctor (Lyme literate) who prescribed two Beyond Balance products, first the BB-MC-1 and later added the BAR-MC-1 drops. Do either work? Um, we still don’t know for sure. Other joints have begun to hurt and swell... are the drops slowing down the spread? Maybe she’d be completely bedridden by now instead of 90% of the time? All movement is painful for her, the more she moves, the worse she is for the next few days. It’s a sad thing to witness, a lively teen full of life and energy reduced to the equivalent of an old, old lady at the age of 23.
If these products really do help with her illness, I’ll be first in line to give them five stars. Next month she’ll have been taking the BB drops for one year. The BAR drops were introduced in Sept 2019. How long are they supposed to take? (She’s also taking homeopathic detox drops--another brand—and three different kinds of heavy metal and mold detox products.)
When your child falls ill like this, you will try anything you can find to try to get her well again. Even when it drains your life savings and leaves you with only hope something will finally work. I hope this MC-BAR-1 product will (she goes through two bottles each month, just like the MC-BB-1 drops) because I don’t know how much longer we can afford to keep buying these expensive products which our insurance doesn’t cover.
