Saw palmetto is a plant, Serenoa ripens, whose ripe berry has been used for decades as a nutritional supplement in support of a healthy prostate and urinary tract in men.  Several studies have shown that the extract of the saw palmetto berry supports healthy urinary flow.

Beta sitosterol is also known as plant sterol and phytosterol.  Plant sterols have a similar structure to cholesterol, and have been studied to have a supporting effect for healthy prostate glands. In clinical studies, betasitosterol has been shown to improve urinary symptoms and flow.
